Preparatory Course on Dynamic Experimental Testing, Lisbon, September 23, 2012

Dates: 23 and 25-26 September 2012

Place: LNEC, Lisbon, Portugal 

Course overview: This course focuses on offering a basic comprehension and on developing essential skills required for the preparation, analysis and interpretation of shaking table tests. The subjects will be introduced using a practical-oriented approach, by means of slide-based lectures and hands-on sessions. Special interaction will be made with the on-going 15WCEE Blind Test Challenge tests (25-26 September 2012).

Audience: SERIES Transnational Access users, researchers and technicians engaged or interested in shaking table tests from other research infrastructures in the SERIES project, or from external ones. 

Registration fee: Free of charge.

The number of places available for the course is limited. Priority will be given to SERIES Transnational Access users and to research and technical personnel from other research infrastructures in the SERIES project. Notification of application acceptance will be sent after September 1st, 2012; TA Users will be notified at an earlier date.
