SUMMARY OF PROPOSED RESEARCH:
The goal of the research is the analysis of the seismic performance of timber building. Three kind of timber housing system will be taken into account: platform frame system (PFS), log house system (LHS), cross laminated system (CLT). For each kind of system will be provided, thank to the cooperation with industrial partners, at least one full scale specimen of a multi‐storey timber house to be tested on shaking table. The specimens will be a multi storey timber house from 1 to 3 storeys with a possible regular horizontal plan. At least 4 specimens will be tested during the experimental campaign, adopting different level of excitation and different conditions of the structures.
