Preparatory Course on Experimental Testing, Pavia, March 2010
The 1st Training Course of SERIES project was organized by EUCENTRE (Pavia, Italy), in conjunction with the other 6 facilities offering Transnational Access. It was a Preparatory Course focusing on the basics of experimental testing and the theoretical background. In particular, the following topics were covered: test instrumentation and acquisition systems, signal processing, testing systems (shake table, actuation, pumping, accumulators), and test strategy (test design according to the test system performances, test execution issues, mock up scale effects, data reduction and interpretation).
Dates: 17 – 19 March 2010
Place: EUCENTRE, Pavia, Italy
Topic: Basics of experimental testing and theoretical background
Audience: Research and technical personnel from other research infrastructures in the project, or from external ones, as well as new users
Registration fee: Free of charge
